Esahi BRMS is a Business Rule Management System (BRMS) that combines the power of the open source Drools.NET Business Rule Engine with a free Visual Studio based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for creating business rules, debugging rule execution and managing rule sets.

The Drools.NET project is a .NET port for the open-source Jboss-Rules project (http://www.jboss.com/products/rules). JBoss-Rules is a Business Rule Engine (BRE) implementation based on Charles Forgy's RETE algorithm. While JBoss-Rules is tailored for the Java language, Drools.NET enables .NET developers/Users to exploit this powerful Rule Engine through a managed .NET code base. Rules can be written in XML and any programming language (C#, VB.NET, J#, etc.) that can target the CLR (Common Language Runtime).
